Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle PCA Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) and ZFS Storage solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle PCA infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across virtualized environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support Oracle PCA environments, including compute, networking, and storage components.
- Manage and administer Oracle ZFS Storage Appliance — configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
- Automate provisioning and configuration tasks where applicable.
- Monitor system health, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support deployment and integration activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and perform knowledge transfers to internal teams.
Required Skills:
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA).
- Expertise in ZFS Storage administration and management.
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies (Oracle VM / KVM / Linux virtualization).
- Good understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, IP management, storage protocols).
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and remote collaboration capabilities.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or hybrid cloud models.
- Scripting knowledge (Shell / Python) for automation.
- Experience with system monitoring and backup tools.
