Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

  • To structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients of using Zen Internets proposition 
  • Provide accurate and timely management information, to include - activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s 
  • Support with technical qualification of sales opportunities 
  • Sales support and demand generation with end users and channel partners to meet and exceed the AOP 
  • Contribute/design marketing and sales strategies and execute the sales process to achieve pre-planned sales targets 
  • To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution 
  • Assist in providing technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes 
  • Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally 
  • Adhere to the Company’s Quality and Business Processes 
  • Build custom demonstrations 
  • Deliver Proof of Concepts (POC) with the project team 
  • Build relationship with prospects or existing customers to enhance the technical offerings across portfolio 
  • Affinity to both sales and technology 
  • Liase with technical teams to deliver comprehensive proposal documents, reply to Requests for Quotes 
  • Maintain company brand and services on offer in competitive form both offline and online including social media 
  • Develop, execute and execute company sales funnel 
  • Assists with the creation of a sales cycle plan 
  • Assists customer, prospect and Sales Representative to build a compelling and competitive business case and ROI (Return of Investment) Manages hand-over to the Services Functions (Post-Sales Support and Professional Services) for live project implementation 
  • Provide inputs to translate technical and business requirements into cost-efficient solutions 
  • Assists with the qualification of the opportunities and/or identification of target accounts 
  • Should be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users. 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 

  • 3-6 years of experience in a pre-sales capacity within hardware or software 
  • Experience within access control/intrusion/cctv would be preferred 
  • Market research data analysis and process knowledge 
  • Ability to convert business issues/problems into solution statement and generate a effective proposal around the same 
  • Proven track record 
  • Knowledge of Agile product management, in particular determination of vision, objectives, goals and success criteria 
  • Excellent understanding /skills in sales, marketing and support of software systems 
  • Ability to design and develop sales campaigns and execute them successfully with measurable KPI 
  • Ability to offer value differentiation and lead the market positioning amongst the customers and competitors 
  • Ability to recruit and manage the own and supporting functions team 
  • Ability to handle customer account successfully 
  • Experience and knowledge of developing product roadmaps, backlogs and measurable success criteria, and of writing user stories, i.e., can establish a path to delivery for breaking down stories 
  • Exposure as a Technical Architect /system architect would be beneficial.
