We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide technical support for our Dollar Universe and Talend environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with specific expertise in these two platforms. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and efficiency of our systems, resolving technical issues, and ensuring seamless operation for our business processes.
Job Description:
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Dollar Universe and Talend environments.
- Take actions in case of event/incident based on the knowledge base documents, examples below:
- Restart the dollar universe session at failed step.
- Force completes the dollar universe session as required.
- Manually run Talend job from Console
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to the platforms promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to address complex technical challenges.
- Create and update support documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing & knowledge base.
- Share insights and best practices with colleagues to foster a collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in providing IT support, preferably with expertise in Dollar Universe and Talend.
- Strong understanding of job scheduling, automation, and data integration concepts.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., shell script) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of database management systems and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Relevant certifications in Dollar Universe and Talend will be a plus.
