As a Talend Cloud Integration Developer professional you will be responsible for developing and implementing data integration solutions using the Talend Cloud platform. You will work closely with architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to design and build robust and efficient integration workflows.
Job Description:
- Integration development: Design, develop, and implement data integration workflows, data mappings, transformations, and EAI/ESB/ETL processes using Talend Cloud. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Talend Cloud implementation: Utilize Talend Cloud Studio to create integration jobs, configure connectors, and define data flows between various systems, databases, and applications. Develop data integration pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into target destinations.
- Data transformation and cleansing: Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation operations to ensure data quality and consistency within the integrated systems. Implement business rules, data validation checks, and error handling mechanisms within integration workflows.
- Testing and debugging: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of integration processes to identify and resolve issues. Perform data reconciliation and verification to ensure the accuracy and completeness of integrated data.
- Performance optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize integration processes to achieve efficient data processing and minimize processing times. Tune Talend Cloud jobs, configure parallel processing, and leverage caching mechanisms to enhance performance.
- Documentation and maintenance: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, data mappings, and integration workflows. Collaborate with operations and support teams to troubleshoot issues, provide bug fixes, and perform maintenance activities on integration jobs.
- Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and database administrators, to ensure seamless integration of data across systems. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates, progress reports, and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Integration Developer or similar role, with expertise in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Talend Cloud.
- Proficiency in Talend Cloud Studio and related tools for developing and deploying integration workflows.
- Strong understanding of data integration concepts, ETL processes, data modeling, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with various data formats (CSV, JSON, XML), APIs, web services, and messaging protocols (REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including experience with cloud-based data storage, compute, and networking services will be a plus.
- Good programming skills in Java or other relevant languages.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to analyze complex integration requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies is a plus.
