This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for the Data Visualization Manager who will be responsible for creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of data visualizations, conducting regular reviews and updates as needed.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualizations and dashboards to support business insights and decision-making.
- Lead and manage the data visualization team, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- Present data visualizations and insights to senior management and other key stakeholders, effectively communicating complex data in an understandable manner.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of data visualization projects and dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, and Plotly.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
- Knowledge of database systems like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
- Familiarity with BI platforms and tools for data integration, analysis, and reporting.
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related libraries (e.g., React, Angular) for creating interactive visualizations.
- Strong understanding with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure for data storage, processing, and visualization.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git for managing code and collaboration.
- Relevant certifications in data visualization or analytics (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are highly desirable.

Salary: GBP 51000 to 65000 per annum
