This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Accountant who will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting analysis, and utilizing technology to streamline financial processes.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities)
- Prepare financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement) and reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Prepare financial reports for budgeting and strategic planning.
- Utilize advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) for day-to-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax preparation and filing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and projects.
- Streamline financial reporting processes and implement best practices.
- Implement and maintain automated financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the finance function.
- Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting using data analysis tools.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting (e.g., pivot tables, macros).
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and ERP systems.
- Good skills with financial analysis for EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization)
- Expertise with accounting equations
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role with a focus on technical skills.

Salary: GBP 47000 to 60000 per annum
