This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Pega Consultant, who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and implement Pega BPM solutions using Pega PRPC, aligning with business requirements and performance standards.
- Perform data modeling and develop Pega integration components to enable seamless data flow and interaction with external systems.
- Utilize Pega App Studio and Dev Studio for application development and customization to meet project-specific needs.
- Configure Pega Robotics (RPA) to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and reduce manual efforts within Pega applications.
- Deploy and manage Pega Cloud Services, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of Pega applications.
- Implement and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within Pega to meet performance targets and enhance user experience.
- Use Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage user permissions and secure sensitive information within Pega applications.
- Leverage Tracer, Performance Analyzer (PAL), and System Management Application (SMA) for troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Oversee system health using Pega AES and configure alerts and error handling to ensure high system reliability.
- Integrate Pega applications with external services using WSDL and other integration protocols, ensuring smooth data exchanges.
- Provide expertise in optimizing Pega applications, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and testers, to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Document application workflows, configurations, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
- Extensive experience with Pega Platform, Pega BPM, and Pega PRPC for application development.
- Proficiency in Pega integration and data modeling for creating seamless, reliable business processes.
- Hands-on experience with Pega App Studio, Dev Studio, and Pega Cloud Services.
- Knowledge of Pega Robotics (RPA) for automating repetitive tasks and improving process efficiency.
- Strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA) management within Pega applications.
- Familiarity with RBAC for secure and controlled access within applications.
- Proficient with Pega monitoring and optimization tools: Tracer, Performance Analyzer (PAL), System Management Application (SMA), and Pega AES.
- Knowledge of WSDL for service integration and data exchange.
- Pega certifications, such as Certified Pega Business Architect (CPBA) or Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CPLSA).
