This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Pega Integration Specialist, who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
- Design and implement seamless integrations on the Pega Platform using Pega PRPC to connect with various external systems and applications.
- Develop, configure, and manage Pega Connectors and Pega API integrations for streamlined data exchange, ensuring security and compliance with industry standards.
- Work with middleware technologies to enhance communication between Pega and other enterprise applications, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Implement Pega RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions to automate workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve efficiency within the integration process.
- Apply security best practices using OAuth and SSL to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of integrations.
- Conduct performance tuning to optimize the speed, efficiency, and scalability of Pega applications, focusing on minimizing latency and enhancing response times.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to integration, connectivity, and data flow to maintain seamless operations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Document integration processes, architecture, and workflows for ease of maintenance and team reference.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
- Proven experience as a Pega Integration Specialist with a strong background in Pega Platform and Pega PRPC.
- Hands-on experience with Pega Connectors, Pega API, and Pega Integration to manage complex data flows and external system connectivity.
- Proficiency in middleware technologies to enable smooth data interchange between Pega applications and other enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of Pega RPA for automating and optimizing business processes.
- Expertise in security protocols, including OAuth and SSL, for securing data during integration.
- Skilled in performance tuning and optimization to enhance the reliability and responsiveness of Pega applications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting integration-related issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical information effectively.
