This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Workday Technical Lead who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings. 

 

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Workday Integration Cloud (WIC), and Workday Web Services (REST and SOAP). 
  • Oversee the development and execution of Workday Data Conversion strategies, ensuring the smooth transition of data into Workday from legacy systems. 
  • Implement advanced reporting solutions using BIRT Reporting, Workday Report Writer, and Workday Prism Analytics to deliver business insights and analytics. 
  • Provide technical leadership in SQL Server, XSLT, and other integration technologies for data transformation, mapping, and reporting tasks. 
  • Manage and optimize Workday Studio Integration, ensuring that integrations with third-party systems and applications are seamless, scalable, and performant. 
  • Lead the execution of PICOF (Partner Integration Certification and Operations Framework) for Workday integrations and ensure certification compliance. 
  • Work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Workday-related functionality. 
  • Mentor and guide a team of Workday developers, providing technical direction and ensuring that best practices are followed in all Workday-related development. 
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure that Workday integrations, data migrations, and reporting solutions function as expected. 
  • Develop and manage documentation for integration designs, data conversion processes, and reporting solutions. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Workday solutions align with business needs and comply with internal and external regulations. 
  • Identify and resolve performance issues and ensure that Workday integrations and reports are efficient and scalable. 
  • Provide support for ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, ensuring optimal performance of integrations and reports. 
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements for existing integrations, reports, and processes to enhance efficiency and functionality. 


Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]:   

  • Workday Studio and Workday Integration Cloud experience for developing complex integrations and automations. 
  • Strong experience with Workday Web Services (REST and SOAP) for seamless system integration. 
  • Expertise in Workday Prism Analytics to build advanced dashboards and data visualizations. 
  • Solid proficiency in SQL Server, XSLT, and other data transformation and reporting tools for managing and processing integration data. 
  • Experience with Workday Data Conversion to migrate data into Workday from legacy systems and external sources. 
  • Proven ability to create and manage BIRT Reporting solutions and Workday Report Writer for custom reporting needs. 
  • Experience with Workday Studio Integration to integrate Workday with third-party applications and systems. 
  • Knowledge of PICOF (Partner Integration Certification and Operations Framework) for integration certification and compliance. 
  • Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Workday integrations, data conversions, and reporting solutions.
