Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the business needs and data requirements
• Analyze business processes and identify critical data elements for modeling
• Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and potential data modeling challenges
• Develop conceptual data models to capture high-level business entities, attributes and relationships within the database structure
• To create data models using Raw Data Vault and Business Data Vault that details the different parts of a business such as hubs, satellites and links
• Physicalize the Data Vault Model in Snowflake using DBT (Automate DV)
• Build automated loading processes and patterns to minimize development expenses and operational costs
• Expertise in Dimensional Modeling and Design patterns
• Lead and manage data transformations projects, demonstrating strong experience in managing end-to-end DBT workflow.
• Lead the data engineering team in designing, building, and maintaining Data Lake on Snowflake using DBT
• Analyze and interpret data from Snowflake data warehouse to identify key trends and insights.
• Document work processes and maintain clear documentation for future reference.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including Data Vault, dimensional and fact modeling.
• Apply best practices for dimensional and fact modeling for optimal performance and scalability.
• Excellent ability to explain complex data modelling and design concepts to the technical and non-technical stake holders

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modeling and design patterns
• Proven experience in designing and developing Raw and Business data models that details business parts such as hubs, satellites and links
• Familiarity with Snowflake and designing the models on top of it
• Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Expertise with Data Vault Model2.0 in Snowflake using DBT (Automate DV)
