This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for ServiceNow Business Analyst who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for ServiceNow ITSM, ensuring optimal configuration and usage of Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement ServiceNow CMDB for accurate tracking of assets, configuration items, and relationships.
- Manage the development and maintenance of the ServiceNow Service Catalog, ensuring it aligns with business needs and user experience.

- Define business workflows and automate processes using ServiceNow Workflow and Flow Designer, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Design and implement ServiceNow reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights and performance metrics for business stakeholders.
- Oversee data import processes and configure transform maps to ensure seamless integration between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Assist in managing and maintaining the ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM), ensuring all applications align with the organization’s IT strategy.
- Use ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure the quality of configurations and customizations through automated testing.
- Use JIRA to manage project tasks, timelines, and backlogs, ensuring efficient tracking and delivery of business requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation in Confluence, ensuring all project details, requirements, and decisions are clearly captured.
- Create impactful Power BI or Tableau dashboards for visualizing key metrics and reporting on business performance.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]:
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst with a deep understanding of ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, and other ServiceNow modules.
- Proficiency in JIRA for project management, including task tracking and sprint management.
- Experience with Confluence for maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Experience with Visio or Lucidchart for process mapping and diagramming.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and ServiceNow Workflow/Flow Designer for process automation.
- Experience in designing and maintaining ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management (APM).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Portal and its configuration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Experience in gathering business requirements, creating documentation, and translating requirements into functional specifications.
- ITIL or ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)) are a plus.
