This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Oracle Cloud Developer who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Oracle Cloud applications and services, focusing on the Oracle Cloud platform (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
- Work with Oracle Cloud tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder, and Oracle APEX to build scalable cloud-based applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to integrate Oracle Cloud with third-party applications and services.
- Participate in the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud application development, from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, and deployment.
- Customize Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Oracle ERP, HCM, SCM) as per client-specific requirements, ensuring that business needs are met.
- Implement workflows, business rules, and extensions to enhance the functionality of Oracle Cloud apps.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle Cloud tools like Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
- Design and implement integrations between Oracle Cloud and on-premises systems, as well as between Oracle Cloud and third-party cloud services.
- Use Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to build seamless data flows and system integrations.
- Monitor the performance of Oracle Cloud applications and services and suggest improvements for better scalability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of cloud-based applications.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]:
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Visual Builder is highly preferred.
- Solid experience in developing with Java, JavaScript, and other programming languages relevant to cloud application development.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and technologies, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud security principles.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud SaaS (ERP, HCM, etc.), and PaaS offerings is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Oracle APEX, Oracle BI, or Oracle SOA Suite.
- Experience working with Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL) and cloud database services such as Oracle Autonomous Database.
- Oracle Cloud Developer certifications or related Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design solutions to complex issues in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for cloud application development.
- Experience with Oracle’s Application Development tools such as Oracle JET, Oracle ADF, or Oracle SOA Suite.
