This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Oracle Cloud Database Administrator who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings. 


Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 


  • Manage, deploy, and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) databases to ensure high availability and performance. 
  • Administer and configure Oracle Autonomous Database for scalability, security, and automated operations. 
  • Implement Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery and high-availability solutions. 
  • Manage and configure Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) for database performance and fault tolerance. 
  • Utilize Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for database backup, restoration, and disaster recovery strategies. 
  • Monitor and maintain Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control for database performance, alerts, and diagnostics. 
  • Integrate and manage data workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for efficient ETL processes. 
  • Implement Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and synchronization across environments. 
  • Enhance database security using Oracle Data Safe for risk assessment and security best practices. 
  • Configure and enforce access control policies using Oracle Database Vault for sensitive data protection. 
  • Implement Oracle Label Security for data classification and multi-level security enforcement. 
  • Utilize Oracle Audit Vault for monitoring and auditing database activities for compliance and security. 
  • Deploy and manage Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) for data-at-rest protection. 
  • Administer Oracle Key Vault for centralized management of encryption keys and certificates. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and system outages. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for database administration and security. 
  • Work closely with development and operations teams to optimize database performance and resource allocation. 

 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]: 


  • Extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in cloud environments. 
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Autonomous Database management. 
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and RMAN for database recovery and high availability. 
  • Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control for performance tuning and database monitoring. 
  • Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and GoldenGate for data movement and replication. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle security tools, including Data Safe, Database Vault, and Audit Vault. 
  • Strong understanding of encryption technologies, including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Key Vault. 
  • Ability to implement database security best practices, access control policies, and compliance standards. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in Oracle database administration. 
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Cloud certification in database administration. 
  • Experience with multi-cloud database strategies and hybrid cloud environments. 
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting for database administration. 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
