Senior Integration Architect – (API – Gravitee and AWS combination)


Education and Certification: Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Oracle Integration Cloud, Enterprise Integration Patterns, API Design and Management


Skills Set: API Lifecycle Management, API Platforms, ETL/Data Integration, Cloud-native Integration Design, API Gateways, CI/CD Integration pipeline, Hybrid (cloud & on-prem) Integrations 


Experience: An experienced Integration Architect with 10+ years in enterprise IT, including 5+ years in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions across cloud and on-prem environments. Deep expertise in API architecture, integration tools and modern enterprise patterns. Experience with API security. 


The Integration Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the integration strategy and architecture for the organization’s various systems and platforms. The role requires a deep understanding of business processes and technical architecture to ensure seamless integration between disparate systems, applications, and services, both on-premises and in the cloud.


We are looking for an Integration Architect with a University degree and at least six years of experience:

• Proven track record in leading integration projects for large-scale enterprise systems

involving both on-premises and cloud-based environments;

• Expertise in industry-leading integration platforms;

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing APIs;

• Proficiency with data-related processes across multiple systems and formats;

• Experience in designing integration solutions using middleware technologies;

• Knowledge of secure data transfer methods and data encryption;

• Ability to design integration solutions with high availability, scalability, and resilience;

• Experience with load balancing, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling strategies for integration

systems in cloud environments;

• Experience writing detailed technical documentation, including integration blueprints, data

flow diagrams, API specifications, and other design artifacts;

• Strong understanding of the business processes that the integration solutions aim to support;

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, including developers, business

analysts, IT operations, security teams, and executive leadership;

• Excellent knowledge of English.


Objective of the assignment: 

• Lead all architectural activities related to the integration aspects of any ICT project;

• Provide guidance for topics related to integration capabilities of ICT systems;

• Produce relevant blueprints with regards to the architectural artefacts that are in scope of

any ICT integration project;

• Drive discussions and provide insights supporting the design and deployment of integration

systems;

• Represent the Integration Architecture domain as a permanent member of the Architectural

Solutions Group;

• Help with any other activity related to Enterprise Architecture practice.


Tasks/Deliverables:

(a) Contribute to the design, development and deployment of the enterprise-wide integration

strategy;

(b) Create proposals outlining the architectural design addressing the needs of new integration

projects.

(c) Deliver state-of-the-art guidelines for building integration patterns supporting different

teams with their ICT integration projects;

(d) Build relevant roadmaps for non-compliant projects ensuring involved teams align with the

enterprise-wide integration strategy;

(e) Work under the responsibility of the Lead of Enterprise Architecture for contributing to the

Architectural Solutions Group;

(f) Perform other related duties as required.
