Job Description
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect with strong IT background and GIS expertise to lead enterprise-level architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with hands-on experience in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions.
The role involves driving enterprise-wide BI and GIS solutions, ensuring integration with business systems, and aligning with IT governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design efforts for mobile GIS solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise IT standards and governance.
- Support cloud-based deployments on Azure or AWS (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS).
- Define and implement cloud security patterns considering data sensitivity, user roles, criticality, and accessibility.
- Create and maintain system architecture documentation (diagrams, component definitions, standards).
- Design systems for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Implement data governance strategies including spatial data versioning and lifecycle management.
- Configure and manage IT infrastructure to support GIS platforms and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS with enterprise systems such as SAP.
- Research and recommend new technologies to enhance enterprise BI and GIS capabilities.
- Develop and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for business intelligence tools and systems.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Enterprise Architecture experience (5+ years).
- Strong IT infrastructure & cloud (Azure/AWS) knowledge.
- Proven experience in GIS platforms (Esri, ArcGIS, or similar).
- Background in Business Intelligence / Data Architecture.
- Familiarity with SAP integration and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of data governance, lifecycle management, and security frameworks.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
