This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Systems Analyst who possess a deep understanding of various IT systems, excellent analytical skills, and a strong technical background to support and enhance our technological infrastructure.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities)
- Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement new systems or enhancements to existing systems to optimize performance and meet business needs.
- Provide advanced technical support for internal users and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs.
- Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Integrate various systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and communication.
- Good understanding of diagramming system processes like Microsoft Visio
- Develop and maintain API integrations. Also, create comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a systems analyst or similar role.
- Expertise in software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and business intelligence tools or data analytics or SWOT analysis
- Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL, and other relevant languages.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX environments, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of UAT, network protocols, LAN/WAN, and network security principles.
- Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and development frameworks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.

Salary: GBP 52000 to 65000 per annum
