Purpose-
Work on the Infrastructure Delivery, responsible for executing major projects that expand and enhance the energy network. This includes building and upgrading substations and transmission lines to ensure the safe and reliable distribution of electricity and gas. The team manages the full project lifecycle—from feasibility studies to construction and commissioning—while supporting initiatives like the Great Grid Upgrade, which connects more clean, low-carbon power to the transmission network across England and Wales.
JD-
- · Support the development and enhancement of digital tools and platforms for project management and reporting.
- · Help automate workflows to reduce manual processes and improve productivity.
- · Assist in collecting, managing, and analysing project data to provide meaningful insights.
- · Work with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and contribute to solution design.
- · Build dashboards and performance metrics to monitor project progress, costs, and resource use.
- · Explore innovative technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes.
- · Ensure digital solutions align with safety, regulatory, and industry standards.
- · Contribute to a data-driven culture by promoting best practices in data management and analytics.
- · Skilled in BPMN, UML, JIRA, and Confluence
- · Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation using structured methodologies
- · Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and process models
- · Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for process optimisation
- · Work closely with IT, compliance, and operations to ensure regulatory alignment (FCA/PRA)
- · Support implementation of new systems and digital transformation initiatives
- · Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and user story development
- · Assist with UAT, training, and post-implementation reviews
