We are seeking an experienced UXUI Designer to lead design activities across Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud Field Service and Experience Cloud within a major Utilities transformation programme
The designer will ensure a consistent usercentred experience across multiple personas internal users field engineers customers while aligning to Salesforce Lightning Design System SLDS standards and programme governance
This role will be embedded within the core delivery team collaborating closely with Product Owners Business Analysts Architects and Developers to translate business requirements into intuitive scalable user experiences
Key Responsibilities
EndtoEnd UX Process
o Lead discovery workshops to capture user needs journeys and pain points across customer field and backoffice experiences
o Conduct user research persona definition and empathy mapping tailored to Utilitiesspecific processes eg asset management service requests field operations
o Create user flows journey maps wireframes and interactive prototypes
o Validate designs through usability testing and iterative stakeholder feedback
UI Design Standards
o Develop highfidelity UI designs aligned with Salesforce Lightning Design System SLDS and corporate brand standards
o Define reusable design components and patterns ensuring consistency across Sales Service Field Service and Experience Cloud applications
o Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility and precise handoff using tools such as Figma
Collaboration Governance
o Work closely with Product Owners and BAs to translate functional requirements into design artefacts
o Partner with Solution and Technical Architects to ensure platform alignment and scalability
o Participate in agile ceremonies sprint planning design reviews retrospectives
o Present design concepts rationale and usability findings to business and IT stakeholders
Accessibility Usability
o Champion accessibility responsiveness and mobilefirst design principles across all user interfaces
o Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and Salesforce UX best practices
Required Experience
Proven experience as a UXUI Designer within Salesforce multicloud programmes Sales Service Field Service Experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Utilities business processes especially field operations service management and customer service interactions
Deep familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System SLDS and Salesforce platform constraints
Strong proficiency in Figma Adobe XD or equivalent design and prototyping tools
Experience designing for multipersona environments internal users customers and mobile field users
Comfortable working in AgileScrum teams with crossfunctional delivery stakeholders
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
