Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Boomi Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and troubleshooting integration processes using Boomi AtomSphere. The ideal candidate will have strong debugging capabilities, understand full integration lifecycle management, and be comfortable working across diverse enterprise applications. Experience in the Retail domain—covering ERP, POS, OMS, inventory, supply chain, and eCommerce integrations—will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development & Maintenance
- Design, develop, and deploy Boomi integrations (AtomSphere) across applications, databases, and APIs.
- Build scalable and reusable integration components, maps, business rules, and connectors.
- Implement Boomi best practices for performance, error handling, retry logic, and alerting.
Debugging & Troubleshooting
- Deep-dive debugging of complex Boomi pipelines, process executions, and logs.
- Identify root causes for integration failures and provide quick, effective resolutions.
- Optimize slow-running processes and troubleshoot connector issues.
Application & Domain Expertise
- Work with retail applications such as ERP systems, POS, OMS, WMS, Inventory Management, eCommerce platforms (Shopify/Magento), or custom retail solutions.
- Understand retail data flows such as orders, inventory sync, pricing, catalog, customer data, promotions, etc.
- Integrate with cloud and on-prem systems using REST/SOAP APIs, FTP/SFTP, database connectors, and message queues.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to integration policies, security standards, and governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere.
- Strong understanding of Boomi Processes, Atoms, Molecules, Deployments, Schedules, and Processing Rules.
- Expertise in debugging pipeline executions, analysing logs, and resolving integration failures.
- Experience with Boomi Flow (optional but good to have).
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, XSLT, and data mapping/transformation.
- Familiarity with retail integration scenarios (orders, returns, inventory, catalogues, pricing, customer data).
- SQL knowledge for querying and validating data.
Soft Skills
- Good communication and requirement-gathering abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple integrations simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Boomi Developer / Professional Certification.
- Experience with Azure/AWS, CI/CD, version control (Git), API Management.
- Prior experience working in Retail, eCommerce, or Supply Chain environments.
