Role Overview:

We are seeking a mid-level Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)

Technical Consultant with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate

should be proficient in X++ development, data integrations, and customizations within

D365 F&O. You will play a key role in designing technical solutions, supporting

implementations, and ensuring the platform meets business and performance goals.

This role is for a large manufacturing customer based in USA for which contract has

already been awarded to us. Project has exciting roadmap of implementing the

application in multiple countries going forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize solutions in D365 F&O using X++, extensions, and best
practices.
• Design and implement Data Entities, integrations (OData, REST APIs, Azure
Services, and batch processes.
• Participate in technical workshops to translate functional requirements into
scalable technical designs.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot custom SSRS reports and/or Electronic
Reporting configurations.
• Assist in data migration using DIXF and other tools as needed.
• Perform technical unit testing, participate in UAT support, and manage
deployments via LCS and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and end users during implementation,
testing, and post-go-live support phases.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation (TDDs), and performance
tuning efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / D365 F&O
technical development.
• Strong command of X++, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and D365 extension

framework.
• Proficiency in creating and customizing Data Entities, OData endpoints, and
SSRS reports.
• Good understanding of D365 architecture, application layers, and deployment
processes.
• Experience with integrations involving Power Platform, Logic Apps, or external
systems (via APIs).
• Familiarity with LCS, DIXF, batch jobs, and debugging tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate (MB-500).
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to finance, supply chain, or manufacturing modules in D365.
• Familiarity with version control and branching strategies in Azure DevOps.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or
related field.
