Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter – UK/Europe to manage end-to-end IT recruitment delivery for UK and European clients. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with responsibility for mentoring junior recruiters and coordinating closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality hiring outcomes.

This role does not involve formal people management or commercial/P&L ownership.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end IT recruitment lifecycle for UK and European requirements, from requirement understanding to candidate onboarding.
  • Work on permanent and contract IT roles across various technologies and domains.
  • Source candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other innovative sourcing channels.
  • Screen, assess, and present qualified candidates in line with client expectations and SLAs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the primary delivery point of contact for assigned UK/EU clients.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand role requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, status reports, and hiring insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with overseas clients.

Team Support & Mentoring

  • Guide and mentor junior recruiters on sourcing strategies, screening techniques, and candidate management.
  • Support team members in achieving delivery targets and improving recruitment effectiveness.
  • Share best practices and market knowledge to strengthen overall team performance.

Process & Quality Improvement

  • Track recruitment metrics such as turnaround time, submissions, interviews, and closures.
  • Identify delivery bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal recruitment processes and compliance standards.

Market Awareness

  • Stay updated with UK/EU IT hiring trends, skill demands, and recruitment best practices.
  • Develop strong understanding of UK/EU hiring models, including compliance-driven recruitment environments.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on UK and/or European IT recruitment experience (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and hiring practices.
  • Experience in mentoring junior recruiters (formal people management not required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working from office in UK shifts.
  • Immediate joiner or short notice period preferred.
