Key Responsibilities
The typical duties include:
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Liaising with business users and stakeholders to understand, define, and document detailed requirements
• System Configuration and Functionality Expertise: Applying in-depth knowledge of the Summit Data Model, functionality, and configuration
• Documentation: Creating detailed business specifications, functional specification documents, interface requirements, and user documentation
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and internal IT teams (developers, testers, etc.)
• Testing Support: Providing input into test strategies, creating test cases and scenarios, assisting with test execution, and supporting UAT
• Problem Solving and Support: Supporting end-users with functional issues or questions, managing incidents, and working to resolve defects
• Process Improvement: Analysing existing business processes and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of existing and upcoming regulations to ensure changes comply with regulatory requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Finastra Summit Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience with functionality, configuration, and architecture of the Finastra Summit platform
• Financial Domain Knowledge: Detailed industry knowledge of treasury and capital markets products (e.g., derivatives, bonds, etc.)
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to structure complex problems and develop data-driven solutions
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools like SQL for data analysis and validation, plus relevant system integration experience
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
