Key Responsibilities and tasks

·       DevOpsSystem administrator for platform environments

·       Automate integrations and maintenance of platforms

·       Architecture of platforms and processes to support development of data ingestion and integration pipelines and data products as well as associated management processes

·       Support new and existing teams and projects of the development organisation in setting up efficient use of the platforms to enable them to work with DevOps disciplines on data and processes relating to management and processing of data

·       Update and maintain relevant documentation such as system documentation functional and technical handbooks and interface descriptions

·       Give input to and integrate to main IT operation disciplines such as ChangeRelease Management MonitoringEvent Management and Capacity Management

·       Ensure platform compliance by providing means of encryption masking tokenization lineage etc

·       Preferred background and qualifications

·       2 to 4 years of experience as DevOps System administrator

·       Experience with server administration in provisioning maintaining and configuring platforms

·       Platform monitoring diagnostics capacity management

·       Understanding Agile Software development techniques with focus on nonfunctional aspects

·       Design and administrating data hosting processing and delivery platforms

·       High proficiency in local language and English both written and spoken

·       Programming and technical experience preferred

·       Linux server administration Red Hat

·       Scripting and automation technologies Bash Python Ansible Terraform

·       Security technologies with experience with cryptographic APIs TLS X509 LDAP OAuth

·       Cloudprovider natives for data and data analytics processing platforms such as Azure Fabric Azure Databricks AWS Glue AWS Athena and AWS Redshift

·       Version control and build management Git Jenkins Azure DevOps

·       Cloudera Data Platform including stream processing Kafka Flink NiFi etc components

·       Data and table formats ORC Parquet Iceberg Delta etc and partitioning schemes

·       Datagovernance and security Atlas Ranger Azure Purview Azure Unity

·       Distributed processing and storage Spark Scala Impala Hive HBase

·       Serverside development Net Java Go
