Key Responsibilities
Solution Design:
- Architect scalable and secure data solutions for migration projects.
- Define data models, integration patterns, and migration frameworks
- Drive the solution development and documentation of solution designs ensuring good architectural practices are observed through the lifecycle of the solution development.
- Working with agile development teams and delivery architects through all phases of the solution lifecycle.
- Owning the hybrid cloud design and governance, driving resolution through iteration focussing on resilience, simplicity and with sustainability in mind.
- Turning requirements and specifications into hybrid cloud designs; shaping key design decisions and iterating ideas as you go.
Migration Strategy:
- Develop and execute migration plans for on-premise to cloud or cross-cloud environments.
- Ensure minimal downtime and data consistency during migration.
Technical Leadership:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide guidance to development and data engineering teams.
Performance & Compliance:
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
· Should have worked on flood resilience software
· Worked on Network Operation & Infrastructure is a BIG plus
· Strong experience in architecture solutioning, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
· Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data migration tools (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, etc.).
· Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
· Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse).
· Familiarity with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).
· Certifications in Azure/AWS/GCP Data Architect or related fields.
· Strong communication skills
· Experience of working across geographies.
