Job Title: CMDB + ITOM Developer

Role Overview
We are looking for a strong ServiceNow CMDB + ITOM Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing CMDB and ITOM modules. The candidate must have solid technical expertise and real project exposure in enterprise-scale environments.
This is a contractual opportunity for 6 months (fixed), with possible extension based on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM modules.
- Configure and manage Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB data models.
- Ensure CMDB data integrity, governance, and compliance with ITIL best practices.
- Work on integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot CMDB discrepancies and optimize discovery schedules.
- Develop scripts, business rules, workflows, and automation using ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application, and operations teams.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and implementation workshops.
- Provide documentation and support during deployment and transition phases.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong experience in CMDB (data modelling, CIs, relationships, governance).
- Strong experience in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).
- Experience in MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure (Servers, Network, Cloud, Applications).
- Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ITOM/CMDB certification preferred.
- Experience in cloud discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.
