As part of the Tech Accelerator initiative, you will drive the bank’s technical shift by bridging high-level architecture with hands-on DevOps execution. Your goal is to design scalable Snowflake solutions that are high-performing, secure, and financially optimized through rigorous FinOps practices.
Core Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the technical design for data-driven applications within DevOps squads, ensuring alignment with the Tech Accelerator roadmap.
- Snowflake Ecosystem: Architect and implement Snowflake environments, focusing on data modeling, secure data sharing, and compute optimization.
- FinOps Governance: Embed "Cost as a Code" into the delivery lifecycle. Monitor cloud consumption, manage Snowflake credits, and drive cost-efficiency across teams.
- DevOps Integration: Automate infrastructure and deployment patterns (IaC) to accelerate delivery speed without compromising bank-grade security.
- Technical Mentorship: Act as the lead authority for engineering teams, dismantling legacy silos and promoting cloud-native best practices.
Critical Competencies
Data Platform
Expert-level Snowflake (Warehouse profiling, Snowpark, RBAC).
Cloud Finance
Proven FinOps experience (Unit economics, tagging, cost-optimization).
Delivery
Deep DevOps fluency (CI/CD, Terraform/Bicep, GitOps).
Domain
Experience in Regulated Environments (Banking/Finance compliance).
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 8+ years in technical architecture or senior engineering; 3+ years in cloud-scale data projects.
