Job Title: Director / Senior Manager – GCC Growth & Account Leadership (Bangalore)


Location: Bangalore, India (Onsite + frequent local travel across GCC locations in the city)


Role Overview:

It is a senior role, hands-on leader to drive growth within Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in Bangalore. This role owns account growth, relationship depth, and delivery expansion across GCC customers. This is not a pure sales role. It is a growth leadership role that blends engineering depth, delivery management experience, and strong client relationship skills. The individual will work closely with client leadership, delivery teams, and client revenue function to drive sustainable account expansion and long-term partnerships.


The role requires strong local presence, regular in-person engagement with GCCs, and deep familiarity with Bangalore’s technology ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

1. GCC Account Ownership & Growth

• Own revenue growth and account expansion across assigned GCC accounts

• Build and execute account growth plans, including upsell and cross-sell strategies

• Identify whitespace opportunities within existing GCC relationships

• Drive modest but consistent growth aligned with client growth targets


2. Executive Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with VP, SVP, and C-suite leaders within GCCs

• Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership on technology, delivery models, and scaling strategies

• Represent client values and point of view on technology, delivery excellence, and industry trends


3. Hands-on Account Leadership

• Be actively involved in day-to-day account management

• Regularly meet client stakeholders across multiple GCC locations in Bangalore

• Engage with client and delivery teams to understand ongoing projects, challenges, and opportunities

• Translate delivery insights into growth strategies


4. Solutioning, RFPs & Growth Initiatives

• Participate in solution design, proposal development, and client presentations

• Lead or support RFPs and RFIs related to existing GCC accounts

• Collaborate with technical and leadership teams to position client's for larger footprint and strategic programs


5. Account Planning, MBRs & QBRs

• Own account planning for key GCC relationships

• Lead and participate in MBRs (Monthly Business Reviews) and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with client leadership

• Track account health, growth levers, risks, and expansion opportunities

• Convert plans into execution and measurable outcomes


6. Net New Growth (Plus)

• While the core focus is account growth, the ability to open doors for net new GCC opportunities is a strong plus

• Leverage local network and ecosystem knowledge to support new logo introductions when relevant


Desired Profile

Experience: 10+ years of total professional experience


• Strong engineering background with hands-on development experience earlier incareer

• Proven experience in delivery management, client engagement, and program leadership

• Exposure to account growth, client expansion, or business development in technology services

• Experience working with or selling into GCCs is a strong advantage

• Strong understanding of modern technology stacks, delivery models, and digital transformation

• Ability to hold credible conversations with senior technology and business leaders

• Strong account management and stakeholder management skills
