Scope and Operating Environment
The scope of services covers end-to-end SAP Basis administration across multiple SAP products and technologies deployed on Windows and Linux platforms, supported by Oracle and SAP HANA databases, operating within a virtualized infrastructure. The environment includes both classical and advanced SAP components, requiring strong expertise across heterogeneous SAP landscapes.
Resources will be responsible for both run operations and lifecycle activities, including installations, upgrades, performance optimization, security administration, system monitoring, and continuous improvement of SAP Basis standards and procedures. The role is mission-critical, supporting production systems used by customer entities globally.

Technical Competencies and Expertise
The required technical profile includes proven experience with modern SAP landscapes and administration tools, including (but not limited to):
· SAP ECC, BusinessObjects (BO), BI, PI, Portal, Solution Manager, SLT, SRM, CRM, Fiori, TM, EM, GRC, IDM, Redwood, NWDI, and Java administration
· SAP HANA database administration, including High Availability (HA) configurations, replication, and maintenance
· Oracle database administration (minimum 4 years)
· Linux operating system administration (minimum 2 years)
· SAP Security administration, including role and user management
· Transport management, system/client copies (homogeneous and heterogeneous), DB export/import techniques
· Performance monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery
Certifications in SAP, Oracle, and HANA are considered desirable, while experience in global SAP implementation programs is viewed as an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities
The consultants will perform a comprehensive set of SAP Basis duties, including:
· Installation, patching, upgrades, and production support for SAP systems
· HANA administration, including HA setup and node replication
· Day-to-day system monitoring, performance tuning, and proactive issue prevention
· SAP security administration and compliance with change and transport management procedures
· Incident management, troubleshooting, and coordination with SAP for vendor-level support
· Development and maintenance of SAP Basis standard operating procedures (SOPs)
· Knowledge sharing, documentation, and structured handover from previous teams
· Close collaboration with infrastructure, OS, database, and application teams to ensure optimal system performance
These responsibilities require a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and adherence to established customer governance and operational standards.

Working Arrangements and Operational Requirements
· Participation in a planned 24x7 on-call rotation, typically one week per month
