We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in IBM Maximo Health / Maximo Application Suite (MAS) to support asset-intensive industries. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Asset Health, Reliability, and Maintenance processes, and will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive successful Maximo Health implementations and enhancements.



Key Responsibilities


Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management


· Work closely with business stakeholders, operations, maintenance, reliability, and asset management teams to understand business objectives and challenges related to asset health and performance.


· Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder interviews to capture functional and non-functional requirements.


· Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and process flows aligned with Maximo Health capabilities.


IBM Maximo Health / MAS Expertise


· Lead and support initiatives related to IBM Maximo Health, including:


o Asset Health Indicators (AHI)


o Condition-based monitoring


o Failure prediction and diagnostics


o Reliability and performance insights


· Provide functional leadership for Maximo Application Suite (MAS) modules, including:


o Maximo Manage


o Maximo Health


o Predict / Monitor (where applicable)


· Ensure effective configuration and usage of asset health scoring, thresholds, alerts, and KPIs.


Process Improvement & Solution Design


· Analyze AS-IS and TO-BE business processes for maintenance, reliability, and asset lifecycle management.


· Recommend process improvements leveraging Maximo Health best practices and industry standards.


· Collaborate with architects and developers to define optimal solution designs while minimizing customizations.


Data & Reporting


· Define requirements for asset health dashboards, reports, and analytics.


· Work with data and technical teams to ensure accurate asset data, hierarchies, failure codes, and health indicators.


· Validate business logic for health scores, risk indicators, and predictive insights.


Testing, Deployment & Support


· Lead and support functional testing (SIT, UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations.


· Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and validation criteria.


· Support production rollout, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.


Assist in change management, training material preparation, and end-user guidance.


Qualifications


Required Skills & Qualifications


Must-Have Skills


· 12–15 years of experience as a Business Analyst in EAM / Asset Management environments.


· Strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Health.


· Proven experience with IBM Maximo (v7.6+) and Maximo Application Suite (MAS).


· Deep understanding of:


o Asset Health & Reliability


o Maintenance strategies (Preventive, Predictive, Condition-Based)


o Failure modes and root cause analysis


· Excellent documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows).


Technical & Domain Skills


· Strong knowledge of EAM processes, including work management, asset lifecycle management, and reliability engineering.


· Familiarity with REST APIs, integrations, and data flows in Maximo is a plus.


· Experience working with asset-intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Energy.


Soft Skills


· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


· Ability to work independently and lead business analysis activities.


· Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.

· IBM Maximo or MAS certifications.


· Exposure to Predictive Maintenance, APM, or IoT-based solutions.


· Experience in large transformation or cloud migration projects involving MAS.


· Knowledge of ITSM, integration tools, and reporting frameworks.

Education


· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.


MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
