Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for "Creating Insights" within Finance, where:
- We ensure "one version of the truth" for data to deliver reliable information and insights.
- Structured and unstructured financial and non-financial data are combined into valuable, fact-based (future) insights.
- Business-driven analyses are performed, providing fact-based scenarios. Within FP&A, Data & Reporting is responsible for complex reporting and ensuring the right tooling is available for the Planning & Control cycle.
In your role as a Data & Reporting Specialist, you are responsible for functioning systems, real-time reporting, quality assurance, auditability, frameworks, authorizations, and the management of the enterprise performance system, OneStream, within Finance. Your specific area of focus will be the Capex Cube within OneStream. You ensure one version of the truth for data to provide reliable information. You are skilled at working with various systems and tools, enabling you to realize complex reporting needs. You contribute to the further automation of the Plan to Forecast (P2F) process. Additionally, you are responsible for:
- Analyzing complex information queries.
- Automated forecasting in the Capex Cube for Latest Estimate and Budget cycles.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in OneStream XF to ensure seamless operations.
- Facilitating standard and more complex reporting.
- Performing statistical analyses.
- Facilitating a (fact-based) learning process.
- Advising on bottlenecks, risks, and possible solutions based on various data sources following analysis.
- Collaborating with Insight Controllers to develop customized reports.
🔹 What do you bring to this role?
- A university-level (WO) working and thinking capacity and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- An understanding of business issues to set up relevant reports and analyses.
- Strong analytical skills in using statistical and visual information, and an experimental mindset in combining data.
- Proven experience with OneStream software and financial software management.
- Experience with technology and tools (including OneStream, BI-publisher, PowerBI, SQL) and an understanding of how to use them to create insights.
- Experience as a data analyst and experience with tools like Visual Basic (VB.Net) and C# are a plus. Additionally, you are quick to master new technologies.
