Fluent Dutch Speaker is required.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to test software applications, identify defects, and ensure products meet functional and performance requirements. The ideal candidate has experience with manual and/or automated testing, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business and technical requirements.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
- Perform functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers.
- Ensure software meets quality, security, and performance standards.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills
- Manual testing methodologies
- Test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- API testing using Postman
- SQL and database testing
- Bug tracking tools like Jira
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Agile/Scrum methodology
- Basic programming knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–5+ years of experience in software testing (depending on the role).
- Experience with manual and/or automation testing.
Preferred Skills
- CI/CD knowledge
- Performance testing using Apache JMeter
- Version control with Git
- Cloud testing experience
- ISTQB certification (preferred but not always required)
