Role Overview
Looking for a Senior OT Project Manager to lead a manufacturing connectivity and Industry 4.0 program at a customer production site. The individual will be responsible for managing technical delivery, coordinating plant and IT stakeholders, managing external vendors, and driving successful implementation of industrial connectivity solutions and MES integration initiatives. The project involves machine connectivity, MQTT-based industrial data integration, edge infrastructure deployment, and manufacturing digitalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of OT/Industry 4.0 projects.
- Manage project plans, milestones, budgets, RAID logs, and executive reporting.
- Lead onsite workshops, design reviews, and steering committees.
- Drive shop-floor audits and OT infrastructure assessments.
- Ensure successful deployment, testing, commissioning, and go-live.
- Manage risks associated with production environments and operational downtime.
- Act as the primary customer-facing delivery lead.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of project/program management experience in manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of OT systems, industrial automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Experience delivering MES, SCADA, IoT, OT/IT, or Smart Factory programs.
- Proven experience managing multi-vendor industrial projects.
- Familiarity with:
- PLC environments
- Industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, Profinet)
- MQTT architectures
- Edge Computing
- Manufacturing Operations
- Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP / Prince2
- Agile / Scrum
- ISA-95 or Industry 4.0 experience
