Tasks to be performed
The Business Analyst Senior will support the SDM/BTS team in selected maintenance tasks related to the on-going projects and
continuous improvement of collateral application applications by analysing issues, supporting changes and enhancements, and ensuring
solutions meet business and operational needs.
The BA will support the SDM/BTS team in identification of issues and subsequent analysis and root cause documentation, suggesting
solutions for issues as well as reviewing automatic testing for developments.
Additionally, support works on selected maintenance tasks related to Apex / CMS and CMS Nova related to instrument configuration, price
loads, daily reconciliations, support of integration with platforms and WSS TRM.
The Assignment involves the following tasks/activities:
● Reviewing documented business issues and related business processes
● Analyse and prepare requirement specifications
● Preparing the business case for new functionalities / modules including RACI matrix
● Facilitation of the communication between back-office users, IT and other stakeholders in-volved
● Evaluation of input and drafting solution recommendations
● Preparing a high-level project implementation plan and finetuning the details
● Gathering high level user requirements and finetuning the details
● Interact with Business to define and test changes
● Preparing high level test scenarios and finetuning the details
● Interact with IT to develop and test changes
● Interact with Business to define and document process changes including updated procedures
● Implementing changes/projects in financial/banking environment
● Document issue handling and workarounds
Mandatory Qualifications:
● University degree in business administration or other relevant field, preferably with MBA/PhD as additional qualification.
● 7 years of experience with business analysis and/or requirements engineering in a financial services institution (investment bank,
retail bank, insurance undertaking, etc.). Background in public and/or private financial services institutions, insurance undertakings or
equivalent institution is preferred.
● Proficiency in English (at least B2).
Specific Experience / Knowledge in:
● Standard functionalities of the Apex / CMS application and preferably as well CMS Nova solution
● Use case documentation
● Test case documentation
● Testing methodologies (IAT and UAT) and testing documentation
● Knowledge of Jira and/or SmartIT
