We are looking for a Business IT Architect Key Register,
Responsibilities: As a Business IT Architect Key Register, you support the business owner and contribute to the realization of the Key Register ecosystem for the Enforcement, Criminal Investigation, and Intelligence domain.
- Investigating needs and issues and translating them into effective solutions
- Participating in architecture meetings within the and at the inter-agency/chain level
- Translating processes into required applications and the application landscape on existing or target infrastructure
- Drafting an architectural framework with leading architectural principles and maintaining architectural governance over it
- Promoting and advocating the architectural principles to various team members
- Drafting a logical architecture model based on Domain-Driven Design
- Translating the ecosystem into logical architecture building blocks and services
- Establishing a service model based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and an API-first strategy
- Decomposing parts of the ecosystem based on the separation of concerns principle
- Drafting a semantically aligned object model and translating it into a logical data model
- Deriving a high-quality class model together with the solution architects within the Joint IT Command (JIVC)
- Aligning with application vendors, co-licensees, and the internal organization regarding generic solutions
Context and Objectives
- Contributing to information-driven operations (IGO) through a high-quality data concept for operations and business management
- Realizing the Key Register ecosystem for the Enforcement, Criminal Investigation, and Intelligence domain
- Operating at the intersection of operations and IT/information provision, reporting to the business owner
- Further developing processes and IT resources to process data adequately
Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a Business IT Architect Key Register or a similar role
Preferences / Wishlist
- 10 years of experience with IT architecture principles as a Data Architect, Domain Architect, or Solution Architect, with at least 7 years within the IT/IV environment of the Public Safety & Security (OOV) domain and relevant processes within the criminal justice chain
- An extensive network within the Public Safety & Security (OOV) chain and the ability to represent the on behalf of the business owner in chain-level meetings. Strong connecting skills and the ability to bridge different disciplines and architectural roles. A helicopter view and the capacity to operate from an integrated perspective while monitoring substantive dependencies
- Completed Bachelor's degree (higher professional education) in Information Science
- TOGAF certified
- Experience with DevSecOps (DevOps)
