Role Description:
Change Epic Owner holds end-to-end responsibility for the thorough business analysis, solution blueprint for change initiatives and end to end delivery of epics.
As an Epic Owner:
- You support the Head of Change in the business analysis for the epics in the change portfolio
- You are part of an international self-steering team to deliver epics in an Agile Way of Working and in accordance with the orange code
- You have in-depth knowledge of financial products, processes and related regulations
- You take full accountability of the deliverables you are responsible for, including on-time and quality delivery
Main roles and responsibilities:
Epic Owner is responsible for:
- thorough understanding of regulatory and/or policy changes
- thorough impact analysis to determine business and process impact due to the changes
- coming up with solution blueprint and clear approach for solution implementation
- providing standard, scalable and creative solutions to ensure these solutions contribute towards enhancing client experience and regulatory compliance
- documentation of the requirements, impact analysis and solution blueprint and arrange sign off from all stakeholders that are involved in the change
- providing requirements for involved squads for implementation of changes
- estimating BAU impact in terms of capacity and knowledge with the Process managers
- following agile way of working and adhere to team stand-ups, refinement and planning sessions
- setting clear priorities in the Epic delivery
- end-to-end delivery of epics related to FM regulatory and compliance area
- delivering epics on time and with expected quality
- providing clear status updates on impediments related to the epics
- creating a clear road map for change delivery and align with stake holders

This role demands the following hard skills and experience:
- Minimum of 8 years working experience in the financial sector
- At least 4-6 years of proven track record in delivering change epics/projects, preferably with an Agile Way of Working
- Experience with Financial Markets business, KYC regulation and financial institutions (brokers, CCP’s, venues etc.)
- Advanced level of knowledge and experience of FM regulations (EMIR, MIFID, SFTR etc.)
- In depth FM product knowledge (Derivatives, Bonds etc.) and applicable regulatory requirements on product/asset class.
