Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Plant Infrastructure Support Engineer to manage the lifecycle of plant infrastructure and support Process Control Systems (PCS) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure reliability, supporting system upgrades and lifecycle activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with IT, OT, engineering, and plant operations teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. Fluency in Polish is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the lifecycle of plant infrastructure, including installation, maintenance, upgrades, migration, and decommissioning.
• Provide technical support for PCS and MOM infrastructure in a plant or manufacturing environment
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and system health to ensure reliable plant operations.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, patching, preventive maintenance, and technology refresh activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and coordinate with relevant technical teams for timely resolution.
• Support servers, virtual machines, operating systems, network components, and other plant infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate infrastructure changes, migrations, and lifecycle improvement initiatives.
• Ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing and plant operations during infrastructure changes.
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and infrastructure records.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, engineering, plant operations, and external vendors
• Follow established operational procedures, change management practices, and applicable IT/OT security standards
Must-Have Skills
• Fluency in Polish is mandatory.
• Experience in Plant Infrastructure Lifecycle Management.
• Experience supporting PCS and MOM infrastructure.
• Understanding of plant infrastructure in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization, and networking.
• Experience with infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching.
• Understanding of infrastructure changes, lifecycle management, and system availability.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment.
• Exposure to IT/OT infrastructure and industrial control systems.
• Experience with infrastructure migration, modernization, and technology refresh projects.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and change management processes.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors.
