TESTQ Technologies is an IT services and solutions company whose offerings spans over variety of industry sectors with strong technical, domain and process expertise helping clients grow their businesses and decrease operational costs on continuous basis in an ever-changing business environment. 

This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Business Analyst who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. 

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

  • Translating requirements into functional and non-functional requirements (in use cases) 
  • Assist with finance and audits along with outside accounting requirements when needed, accounting tool and General team management. 
  • Stakeholder management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, finance teams, and external partners. 
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs. 
  • Creating process maps and diagrams to visualize financial processes and identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks 
  • Prepare reports on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews. 
  • Collecting, understanding and documenting the business requirements for change initiatives 
  • Will have to Support with analysis of new product developments, understand the business problems and opportunities to fix those problems. 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the iterative process of learning, building and deliver, ensuring maximum value and minimal disruption across the business. 
  • Should be able to do Research, implement, and support new finance system implementation when necessary. 
  • Preparing regular reports and presentations to communicate financial and operational performance to business leaders and stakeholders. 
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. 
  • Developing financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability based on market trends, industry benchmarks, and company performance. 
  • Should be able to define the scope, budget and schedules for operations and special projects. Analyse and track hours for Managed Service Providers and Development team. 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues including monitoring logs and performing regular transaction audits. 

 Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 

  • Experience in performing a business analysis role in an agile environment. 
  • Should have Offshore Experience. 
  • A strong foundation in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret financial statements, develop financial models, and analyze financial data. 
  • Should be able to work closely with users, engineers, product owners and understand their technical language. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis, to manipulate, analyze, and draw insights from complex data sets. 
  • Experience in data related roles, demonstrating customer focus and knowledge of core concepts around ingestion, cleansing, processing and data quality 
  • The ability to think strategically and identify long-term opportunities and risks for the business, taking into account market trends, industry benchmarks, and company performance. 
  • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver financial and operational projects on time and within budget. 
  • Knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies will be preferred. 
  • Delivery of KPI reports and other associated information. 
  • Previous experience as a business analyst is essential. 
  • Should have the knowledge of and experience with Agile project management methodologies including SCRUM and Kanban. 
  • Worked in areas identifying and applying technology solutions to solve business problems (ideally using agile methodologies)

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent. 

Salary:GBP 25000 to 35000 per annum
