This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Functional Tester who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
- Automate Testing of SWIFT systems from UNIX shell and GUI (SWIFT WebPlatform). Reviews business requirements and use cases.
- Identifying risk areas associated with the project and testing objectives.
- Writing and execution of tests for our WorldLine Pay Front Office solution.
- Working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system.
- Providing leadership and general oversight for the junior testers on a day-to-day basis.
- Define and implement a test framework.
- Supervise creation, modification and execution of test cases.
- Supporting Proposals and Response to RFPs.
- Execute test scenarios and document the results.
- Help developing a Quality Assurance roadmap for the SWIFT Network product team.
- Provide estimations.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
- Implement and document testing strategies and practices on SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), Gateway (SAG) and Web Platform (SWP).
- Should have 3+ experiences in Functional QA Tester Capital Market or Banking or BFSI.
- Comfortable with Linux operating systems.
- Telecom Domain background will be preferred.
- Should have knowledge of SQL or Database.
- Experience in source control – GIT.
- Should have good experience of Jenkins.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and their application including UAT and System Testing.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent.
Salary: GBP 29000 to 40000 per annum
