This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Senior Programme Manager who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. 

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with programme goals and objectives.  
  • Establish project governance structures, processes, and methodologies to facilitate effective project execution. 
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project sponsors, team members, and external partners. 
  • Communicate programme updates, progress reports, and key milestones to stakeholders regularly and effectively. 
  • Coordinate with functional managers to ensure adequate staffing and skill levels are available to meet project requirements. 
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of programme plans, project charters, schedules, budgets, and other relevant artifacts. 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; PMP or PGMP certification preferred. 
  • Proven experience in programme management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects and initiatives. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software applications. 
  • Experience in agile or hybrid project management methodologies is desirable. 
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to programme management.

Salary:GBP 40000 to 60000 per annum
