This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Report Developer who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. 

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts. 
• Create and maintain a software database. 
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications. 
• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions in accordance with project timelines and specifications. 
• Integrate software components and third-party programs. 
• Verify and deploy programs and systems. 
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software. 
• Gather and evaluate user feedback. 
• Recommend and execute improvements Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements, including key metrics, data sources, and visualization preferences. 
• Design and develop reports using appropriate tools and technologies, such as SQL, BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and programming languages (e.g., Python, R). 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, Engineering or a related field. 
• Proficiency in SQL querying and database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). 
• Experience with one or more BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) and familiarity with data visualization best practices. 
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. 
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks

Salary: GBP 29000 to 40000 per annum
