This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Quality Assurance Analyst who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. 

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software applications and systems. 
• Working closely with the product team on the design and development of new features. 
• Creating and maintaining documentation and tutorials. 
• Implementing new processes and creating new tools to automate testing. 
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner. 
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability. 
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on testability, usability, and quality considerations. 
• Evaluating software for release readiness and reporting defects to software developers. 
• Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress. 
• Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations. 
• Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency. 
• Research the current market for similar products and compare results. 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
• Should have Experience in quality assurance/testing roles, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. 
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), Certified Quality Assurance Professional (CQAP) or other relevant certifications in software testing would be an added advantage. 
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as [mention relevant tools]. 
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent. 

Salary: GBP 29000 to 40000 per annum
